About Me
As a computer scientist with a PhD from the University of Saarbrücken, I have worked as researcher in several interdisciplinary projects in Germany (Fraunhofer ISE), the UK (Loughborough University) and Switzerland (Hochschule Luzern), primarily applying computer graphics techniques to material modelling and building simulation. In addition I gathered experience managing server infrastructures and networks as system administrator at Bonn University's department of Applied Mathematics.
Within GHGA, I look forward to contributing my expertise to the Data Hub operations, as well as engage in state-of-the-art cloud computing technologies in the new (to me) interdisciplinary context of genomics.
