About Me

My journey began with a curiosity about DNA and genes, sparking my interest in the field of genetics. This led me to pursue a Bachelor’s in Genetics, during which I was introduced to the vastness and complexity of genomes. Fascinated by the challenge of understanding and managing such expansive data, I turned my focus toward bioinformatics. To build on this foundation, I pursued a Master’s degree in Life Science Informatics, which allowed me to delve deeper into the intersection of biology, data, and computational methods.

At GHGA, I contribute practical implementation of concepts for managing and analyzing various omics datasets. A significant part of my role involves working closely with data submitters at DKFZ and other partner institutions to identify and prepare datasets for submission to GHGA and EGA.
Through my work, I aim to facilitate responsible data sharing and uphold GHGA’s mission of advancing genomic research to benefit both science and society.
