About Me
I studied Pharmacy as an undergraduate but was fascinated by the potential of informatics in biology and therefore did a Masters in Pharmacoinformatics where I started to learn programming and other relevant concepts. I did a PhD where I developed computational tools to analyze bacterial genomic sequences.
Subsequently, I have been working on the development of tools and pipelines for the analysis of genomics and transcriptomics data for the past 10 years. This includes data from hundreds of mammalian genomes as well as studies involving human samples for biomedical research. I am excited by the mission of GHGA which is basically bringing together data from different omics studies under one hood and offer controlled access to these datasets.
