Biography:
Ivo Gut is Director of the Centro Nacional de Análisis Genómico (CNAG-CRG), one of the largest genome sequencing center in Europe. At the Centre National de Génotypage (CNG) he established the highest throughput genotyping platform in Europe and was the coordinator of the EU-funded Project READNA. At CNAG, he is leading the Biomedical Genomics Group, he is principal investigator of the ongoing EU-funded projects Beyond 1M Genomes, 3TR, BCLL@las, EUCanCan, EJP RD, and was coordinator of RD-Connect, part of the International Rare Disease Research Consortium. Currently, he coordinates EASI-Genomics, an EU Infrastructure Project. He is active in lthe International Cancer Genome Consortium (ICGC), the International Human Genome Consortium (IHEC), and the International Rare Disease Research Consortium (IRDiRC).
